SuperKids Program

Overview:   
SuperKids is a Talent Identification Program for boys aged 3-6 in the sport of 
Competitive Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG for short). There are six events in 
which your son will begin training to compete — Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, 
Vault, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar. In this fundamental learning stage, our 
SuperKids will be screened and taught with a heavy focus in the areas of physical 
and mental prep necessary for long term competitive success. 
Our CGC’s Men’s Artistic Program (boys age 7+) is a competitive, high
performance program that focuses on producing gymnasts for the elite level of 
gymnastics (National, International and World class). Due to this directive, the 
program seeks out boys that have the right attributes to cope with the physical 
and mental demands of the sport, as well as the capacity, commitment, passion 
and drive necessary to discover their dream towards one day reaching the top 
levels. As a SuperKid, your son has been selected for the first assessment level of 
our program. From here this could lead to a spot in our Competitive Program 
beginning in the developmental Level 1 Program as they move into their Grade 1 
or 2 year. 
He will be chosen based upon whether or not he demonstrates attributes, 
qualities and features that favour competitive success in the sport of Men’s 
Artistic Gymnastics. Elite-stream competitive gymnastics is not possible nor 
appropriate for every boy. To have been selected for SuperKids confirms that 
your son is exceptionally athletic and physically able, but not always necessarily 
a competitive gymnast. Acceptance into the SuperKids program does not 
guarantee a position in the competitive system, only the chance for us to work 
with him to cultivate those skills mentioned in hopes and preparation, during the 
ages of 3 to 6. All boys will age out of SuperKids August 31st of the year in which 
they turn 6. 
Our structured classes teach the boys to be disciplined, but are also designed to 
instill a strong sense of fun and passion that furthers their love of the sport.  
Regardless of a possible advancement in our program, the tools with which they 
master here will help them excel in any athletic endeavour that lies ahead, as well 
as non-athletic. Gymnastics is more than a sport! It is the basis of all sports, and 
our elite training systems form a basis for lifelong success both in and outside of 
sport and athleticism.
